Strata of Time

Strata of Time
Canyon walls recur as shifting planes of stone and light.
About the photograph
Overlapping contours loosen the canyon from a single moment, turning eroded stone into a procession of translucent forms. Light moves through the narrow passage like another stratum, brief against the weight of geological time.
